George H. LOMAN, one of the most highly esteemed citizens of the Freedom neighborhood, died on Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services were held at Freedom Church yesterday afternoon in charge of Rev. HH Elmore. Mr. Loman was born near Lafayette Jan 10, 1853. He married Mantie H. Brown, March 19, 1882, who survives him as do one daughter, Mrs. Blanche Dixon of Kendallville and one son, George Loman, Jr. He moved here from Otterbein about 30 years ago. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church and the Waveland Masonic Lodge. - kbz
